Terms of Service

1. General
Welcome to Miora (hereinafter referred to as “the Platform” or “we”). The Platform is independently operated by an individual developer and is not operated by a corporation or legal entity. These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) govern your use of the website and mobile application services provided by the Platform. Please read these Terms carefully before using the Platform.
All services on the Platform are provided on a “best effort” basis. We do not guarantee the continuity, stability, or availability of the services. The Platform may be suspended, modified, or permanently terminated at any time for any reason without prior notice.
By registering an account, accessing, or using any services of the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Services
The Platform provides online appointment booking and matchmaking services for the beauty, hair, nail, and related industries. Key features include:
- Consumers browsing business information and making online appointments
- Merchants creating and managing shop pages, services, and business hours
- Merchants managing appointment schedules and customer information
- Appointment notifications and reminders
The Platform is currently in an early stage of development. Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time without prior notice.
The Platform is a matchmaking platform and does not directly provide beauty-related services. Actual services are independently provided by each merchant.
3. Account Registration and Management
3.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to register and use the Platform. You are required to provide truthful, accurate, and complete information during registration.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and must not share your account credentials with third parties. You are solely responsible for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect your account has been compromised.
3.3 Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the application's built-in features. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
4. User Obligations
When using the Platform, you agree not to engage in the following activities:
- Providing false or misleading information
- Impersonating another person or using another's account
- Interfering with or disrupting the normal operation of the Platform
- Using the Platform for any illegal activities
- Scraping, copying, or distributing Platform content without authorization
- Sending spam or engaging in harassment
- Circumventing the Platform's security mechanisms or access restrictions
5. Merchant Obligations
As a merchant user, you additionally agree to:
- Provide truthful and up-to-date business information
- Fulfill appointments made by consumers through the Platform in good faith
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not use the Platform to disseminate false or misleading business information
- Properly safeguard and lawfully use consumer personal data obtained through the Platform
6. Appointments and Cancellations
6.1 Appointment Confirmation
The method of appointment confirmation varies by merchant settings and may be instant or require merchant approval. Please refer to the specific instructions on each merchant's page.
6.2 Cancellations and Changes
Cancellation and modification policies are determined by each merchant. We recommend reviewing the merchant's policies before booking. Disputes arising from no-shows shall be resolved directly between the consumer and the merchant.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, software, and their arrangement, is protected by copyright laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and international intellectual property laws.
No content from the Platform may be reproduced, modified, distributed, displayed, or otherwise used in any form without prior written consent from the Platform.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform provides services on an “as is” and “as available” basis, and makes no express or implied warranties of any kind regarding:
- The services being uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- The continued availability or stability of the services
- The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of information obtained through the Platform
- The quality, safety, or legality of services provided by merchants
- The integrity of user data
Your use of the Platform is entirely at your own risk. The Platform is not responsible for transactions or disputes between consumers and merchants.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Platform. The total cumulative liability of the Platform shall not exceed the fees actually paid by you in the three months preceding the claim. For free-plan users, the maximum liability shall be NTD $0.
10. Service Modifications and Termination
10.1 Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue all or any part of the Platform's features at any time without prior notice.
10.2 Service Termination
The Platform may suspend or permanently cease operations at any time for any reason. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice.
10.3 Handling of Paid Subscriptions
If you have an active paid subscription at the time of service termination, we will make reasonable efforts to process refunds; however, the amount, method, and timing of any refund are at the sole discretion of the Platform.
10.4 Data Deletion
After the Platform ceases operations, all user data stored on the Platform will be permanently deleted. We recommend that you back up any data you need at all times.
10.5 Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure such as natural disasters, war, pandemics, changes in government regulations, or internet outages, all obligations of the Platform shall be suspended or waived.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Taipei District Court.
12. Amendments
We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. Revised Terms will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Platform after any revision constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
